Create your account

Sign up for Bright. Already done? Skip ahead. Create your account walks through the form.

Get your workspace

Bright creates a workspace named after you the first time you sign in, or drops you into the one you were invited to. To add another organization later, open your name at the bottom of the left rail, then Switch organization, then Create organization….

Land on Work

Work is the organization’s home: a new-session composer, ready for your first prompt.

Pick something concrete

An idea, bug, research question, or app/site you want to build.

Example starter prompt

Bright typically:
  1. Clarifies scope
  2. Creates a project
  3. Breaks work into issues
  4. Writes a PRD/plan when useful
  5. Executes in Agent mode, pausing at gated tools for Allow once or Deny

Questions before continuing

Bright pauses to ask questions in the chat when it needs answers before continuing. That’s normal. Answer them, and Bright posts your reply as Checkpoint answers and proceeds.

Good to know

  • Connecting GitHub and other integrations for an existing project can come later. Blank-project chat is enough to learn modes, agents, and the loop.
  • Bright stops to ask questions when it needs answers before continuing. That’s normal.
  • Sessions start in Agent mode, which acts on its own. Switch to Ask or Plan (⌘.) if you want Bright to propose first.
  • Gated tools still ask before running. Expect Allow once or Deny prompts.
