What an issue carries
The property rail on the right of an issue:Status words differ between objects. An issue is Done; a project is Completed.
Find the right issues
The Plan sidebar holds four views over the same issues: What’s next (actionable work, with parents collapsed into their sub-issues), My issues (assigned to you), and Deliverables and All (top-level issues, completed ones included). Filter any view by Status, Assignee, Priority, Labels, Due date, Project, or Visibility, and switch the display between list and board. Every view and filter combination lives in the URL, so a configured view is a link you can share.Sub-issues are hidden from All and Deliverables. Open a parent issue and read its Sub-issues section, shown as a count such as 0/3. Never count work from the All view.
Work an issue
- Plan opens the issue in context chat to scope the work.
- Build starts build-oriented work in the same chat.
- Add sub-issue splits the task into smaller ones.
- Add context links the resources the work needs.
- Copy link and Copy prompt share the issue and its context elsewhere.
How issues fit the rest
- Projects group issues into initiatives: Projects.
- Chat does the work. Ask Bright to take an issue end to end: Chat and agents.
- Documents hold the context an issue needs: Documents.
