Where connections live
Open Capabilities → Apps. Each app has a row with its current state and its connections:- Connected - at least one enabled connection is live.
- Needs attention - a connection exists but is not healthy; open it to re-authorize.
- Off - no connection for this organization yet.
Connect an app
- Select Connect on the app’s row.
- OAuth apps (GitHub, Google, Linear, Notion, Slack) send you to the provider’s authorization screen. Read the requested permissions and organization context before approving; the scope granted is defined by the provider, not by Brightstack.
- API-key apps (Cursor) ask for a name and the credential the provider issued.
Manage or remove
Each row lists its connections with an enable switch and a manage dialog. Disable a connection to pause it without deleting anything, or remove it to revoke Bright’s access from the provider side as well. What connections unlock
- Connector skills appear in the composer’s
/menu once the app is connected (see Build skills and named agents). - GitHub unlocks handing an issue to a coding agent (see Hand work to coding agents).
- After an agent claims it used a connected app, check the provider itself (see Verify connector claims).
