Connect the apps your team already uses and Bright can read from them, write to them, and gain skills that depend on them. Connections are per organization: a badge describes the org you are in, not your personal account.

Where connections live

Open Capabilities → Apps. Each app has a row with its current state and its connections:
  • Connected - at least one enabled connection is live.
  • Needs attention - a connection exists but is not healthy; open it to re-authorize.
  • Off - no connection for this organization yet.

Connect an app

  1. Select Connect on the app’s row.
  2. OAuth apps (GitHub, Google, Linear, Notion, Slack) send you to the provider’s authorization screen. Read the requested permissions and organization context before approving; the scope granted is defined by the provider, not by Brightstack.
  3. API-key apps (Cursor) ask for a name and the credential the provider issued.
When the row shows Connected, the connection is live.

Manage or remove

Each row lists its connections with an enable switch and a manage dialog. Disable a connection to pause it without deleting anything, or remove it to revoke Bright’s access from the provider side as well.
